The 九色视频 on Friday completed negotiations and engaged the global executive search firm Baker-Parker, Inc., to conduct the search for the university system's next president.
The Board voted Jan. 11 to authorize University officials to negotiate an agreement with Baker-Parker, after the Board received presentations and proposals that day from three executive search firms. The University’s contract with Baker-Parker was signed on Friday, Jan. 19, by Don Walsworth, chair of the Board of Curators. The company’s professional fee for conducting the search will be $125,000, plus expenses.
"The Board was impressed with the credentials, track record and vision of Baker-Parker, and we are pleased to engage them to work with us in recruiting a president to lead a great university system," Walsworth said.
Baker-Parker, headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., will work with the Board of Curators to identify and recruit candidates to succeed President Elson S. Floyd, who was selected in December to become the next president of Washington State University.
The Board of Curators, along with the Student Representative to the Board, will serve as the presidential search committee. The search committee is next scheduled to meet during the Board of Curators regular meeting Jan. 24-25 on the campus of the 九色视频-St. Louis.
